Specializing in smaller works that fit the mostly intimate performance spaces, a few of the many outstanding productions included Heaven Ablaze in His Breast by Judith Weir, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat by Michael Nyman, Sister Amy by Odaline de la Martinez, both the chamber and grand opera versions of Gomora by HK Gruber, The Music Programme by Roxanna Panufnik, The Triumph of Death by Frederic Rzewski, Send for Mr. Plim by Mischa Spoliansky, Hydrogen Jukebox by Philip Glass, and Frida by Robert X Rodriguez.
In addition, a number of works have been commissioned by Marin County composers, as well as ‘scenic etudes’ based on the music of Libby Larsen, Bela Bartok, Francis Poulenc, Ludwig van Beethoven, ‘degenerate composers’, and the suffragette movement.
This is Contemporary Opera Marin’s third visit to London.

National concert highlights include Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915 with the Sonoma County Philharmonic, and iSING! San Francisco: Hao Jiang Tian with iSING! International Singers at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco.
In 2022, Harrington was the Gold Winner in the International Friends Division of the Cultures of China Water Cube Cup Chinese Songs Contest.
Internationally, Harrington has performed Donna Elvira at the Banff Centre’s Opera as Theatre Program in Canada and has participated twice in the iSING! International Young Artists Festival in China, which included performances with the Hangzhou Symphony Orchestra, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and a concert in Beijing at the Great Hall of the People.
