Grand Piano

As anyone who has visited The Red Hedgehog will be aware,
our exceptionally fine Yamaha C7 Concert Grand Piano, obtained new from master craftsman Jeffrey Shackell in Oxford, is much admired. It has an excellent sound throughout its range and is a delight to play

Recital Room

The area is L-shaped, approximately 5m x 7m on one side, and spanning 12 metres across the main width.

The acoustic is very good and the space well soundproofed from the Archway Road.

Room Capacity

Medium-sized ensembles (approximately 15-20 musicians)

HIRE CHARGES

(including use of Yamaha C7 Concert Grand)

£35 per hour - (up to 4 hours)

£30 per hour - (over 4 hours)

Minimum charge 2 hours - £70

(Rehearsal without use of piano)

£30 per hour - (up to 4 hours)

£25 per hour - (over 4 hours)

Minimum charge 2 hours - £60

(VAT is not chargeable)

RECORDINGS

Please note that when the piano is used for recordings
the tuning charge will be added to the hire fee (at cost).
Please also note that due to the layout of the venue, when recordings are being made no other activities can take place in the venue.
Therefore, additional charges may apply so as to give you
exclusive use of the whole space during your session.
